Animal Kingdom - Pope, Lena, Vin
This show messed me up. Pope is such a compelling character and I wish we had gotten to see more of him. I loved the plotline where Lena moved in with Pope, and I also loved what was alluded to with Pope and Vin. I'd love to see anything exploring Pope's life in general and his different relationships, because I love getting to see him grow his own morals contrary to what Smurf wants to use him as. What other situations could Pope end up in, and how might he still change further? Would there be any way that he could get completely out from under Smurf's hold and become a better person? What would have happened if he'd made a different choice re: Cath? What if he and Lena had ended up going on the run - how would that have worked out?
Hill Street Blues - J.D., Howard, Maura
I love these characters so much. J.D. really has a heart underneath all that sleaziness, and Howard seems to care for people, at times, more than he and his outlook want him to. I wish we had seen more of Maura, because it seemed for a moment as though Howard was going to be able to overlook his own prejudices and take a chance. I definitely still ship Howard/Maura, but heck, I'd be up for J.D./Maura or J.D./Howard as well, or something gen that involves all 3 - hostage situation? Undercover operation? Whatever you got, I'd love to see it!
Dirty Harry - Harry, Ann Mary
Ah, this movie! I was sad that things went the way they did with Ann Mary as I would have loved to have seen a reunion scene... does Harry get attached to people that he saves, or does he not believe in keeping connections? How does someone get past having been a victim of Scorpio? Smut is okay if set when Ann Mary is 18+ and you want to take it that direction.
Trick Baby - Folks, Blue
I love this movie so much and would really like to see anything dealing with Blue taking Folks under his wing and their cons together. Or what if they had made it out of Philly before the ending? There's also a novel, though it takes place in Chicago in the 40's, so if you want to include that, feel free, but it may not match up!
Paint Your Wagon - Ben, Pardner, Elizabeth
I saw this recently, and it was so much fun! I would love anything exploring the different dynamics between the three of them in the town and their polyamorous marriage, or whatever might happen after the end of the movie! Does Ben ever decide to come back? Do Ben and Pardner have something going on that also led to the trio marriage?
Chess - Freddie, Florence
Ah, I love Chess. My favorite productions include the original concept album, the Denmark production, Chess in Concert and the little seen (but I was there!) DC Kennedy Center production with Raul Esparza. I just really love Freddie and Florence's friendship and relationship - in the question of whether I ship them, I don't know! I think the relationship is more complicated than JUST friends or lovers, and I'd like to see whatever that is explored more, either during or post canon.
